My 10 Day Health Tune-Up

I have a friend who asked me for a favor. The favor was to remind her every day with a tip to keep her motivated to live a healthier lifestyle. I came home thinking about the challenge and thought it would be motivating to her, me, and anyone else to re-think our exercise and food choices for 10 days and how we can make better ones to physically improve our lifestyle.


FUN, RIGHT!


Over the past year I have been focusing of making better choices in my lifestyle as I exercised and ate healthy. While I made better choices permanently it changed my lifestyle. My "after me" feels and looks better about myself.

My tip is don't deprive yourself of the things you love but find things you love that are good for your body. I love running, yoga, and going to the gym! I crave this exercise in my daily life. It's what keeps me going through the day to day grind. I also love food! I make sure that every meal I eat has either a full serving of fruit or vegetables with it. Eliminating my carbs (breads and pastas) to once a day made me feel more energetic and lighter. Of course I had my treats but made sure I chose them carefully. Life is good when you feel good and can enjoy all yummy foods and are able to physical do what you want!

Every day for the next 10 days I will post something to motivate you to live healthier. From snack ideas to uplifting quotes and a push to exercise I hope we can all be healthier and happier!
